New User Interface
- The user interface has been redone to provide a better experience, while still retaining familiarity with the original interface.
- Previous tabs at the top (Files, Manage Users, Manage Workspaces, etc.) are now listed on the left side of the screen and can be hidden if desired (by clicking the three-line icon above the listing) for more screen real estate.
- Help icons are now provided on many features, providing information about the feature to the user. These can be hidden from the “Help” menu icon at the top (“?”).
- In the Files view, Workspaces can now be displayed with both "Favorites" and "Recent Workspaces/All Workspaces" at the same time.
- Move and Copy can now be done with drag-and-drop, into a folder or another workspace.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Admins have the ability to require 2FA for the site, using either an Authenticator app, SMS, or Email. Go to Site Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication to enable.
Inline Notifications
- Logged in users now have the option of receiving an inline (in browser) notification any time a file is sent to them, and these notifications are stored in a menu they can access at any time.
Dashboard
- Users have the option of first going to a Dashboard upon logging in, where they can see the most recent uploaded files and the most recent files sent to them.
- They can take actions on these files based on the location permissions granted to them.
- They can upload, create workspaces, and create users directly from this page (depending on user type and permissions).
New User Type: Super User
- Admins can now create a new user type, “Super User”. Super Users are similar to Admins in that they can create users and workspaces, have full file permissions, etc. but do not have access to account information and site settings, such as billing information and security settings.
FileDrop Management
- The total file size uploaded at one time through the FileDrop can now be capped.
- There is now an option to limit the number of FileDrop Recipients selected by the user.
- You can now require the uploader add a phone number and/or message, or require them to select a recipient.
- You can now add rules to determine where the file goes, based on various criteria, after initially being uploaded to the FileDrop. Example: if someone with the email address of “john@smith.com” uploads a file, you can have it automatically moved to the “Smith_John” workspace.
Autocomplete Site-Wide Search
- Take actions directly on results from autocomplete.
- Regular users can search files from anywhere on the site, other users can search users and workspaces as well (depending on type of user).
Sidebar for Previous Location
- Users can quickly get to their previously viewed file locations via the Sidebar on the right side, which can also be collapsed for more screen real estate.
- Admins and Super Users can also see logged in users.
User Settings
- By clicking on the user’s name in the upper-left area of the site, it allows users to see their Recent Activity and set/review their notification settings.
- This also allows users to set their login settings, and set preferences for Upload/Send that will pre-populate when they use those functions.
- Users can now create and edit an Address Book to manage their non-user emails.
User Sessions
- Admins can now view User Sessions, allowing them to view the activity of a specific user during a specific logged-in period. Found in Control Pane > Activity Reports > User Sessions.
Account/Billing Changes
- Admins can now change their own subdomain/URL and update their storage or plan without contacting Support.
